Remedies
Dry Itchy Skin can be bathed in a mild solution of apple cider vinegar.
Then dry the area and apply coconut oil.
Sunburn can be soothed and cooled by bathing in apple cider vinegar
and applying afterwards the sap of Bulbinella.
Insect Bites and Bee Stings can be treated with full-strength
vinegar, dabbed on the area with a cotton ball. Secure the cotton ball
afterwards with a plaster.
Sore Throat needs a gargle solution of one table spoon of vinegar to
warm water. Afterwards, make a drink from warm water with honey and lemon
juice and sip regularly.
Sinus Infections are cleared by adding a third of a cup of vinegar to a
vaporizer.
Headaches are often relieved by rubbing a drop of lavender into the
temples.
Hiccups can be cured by swallowing a tablespoon of vinegar.
Upset Tummy will benefit from a green banana.
Weight Loss can be aided by adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and
honey to water. Sip when hungry.
Anti-Dandruff Hair is achieved by massaging ½ cp of vinegar to the
scalp after shampooing. Rinse after 2 minutes.
Facial Toner - make your own with a teaspoon of cider vinegar and a
little water. Avoid eyes.

Cayenne pepper
Increase metabolism and fat-burning.
Ginger
Increase metabolism with heating properties and prevents nausea (morning/motion sickness). Gingerol, ginger's active ingredient is a compound that some believes to relax blood vessels, stimulate blood flow and relieve pain. It's used for indigestion. It is an anti-inflammatory and it's high in antioxidants.
Peppermint
Peppermint treats indigestion and gastro, insomnia and anxiety.
Mustard
Helps relieve respiratory difficulties.
Oregano
Thymol and carvacrol are 2 of oregano's potent antibacterial compounds. Oregano, rich in phytonutrients, is a great antioxidant.
Horseradish
Horseradish helps with indigestion.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon increases metabolism, helps with diarrhoea and indigestion. This anti-microbial food can stop bacteria, fungi and yeast increasing. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-clotting properties. It is believed to increase brain activity. Cinnamon controls blood sugar, reduces triglyceride levels, LDL (bad) cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. This powerful antioxidant is a potent disease fighter.
Allspice
Allspice helps treat flatulence and indigestion.
Garlic
Garlic is a wonderfood, used for lowering cholesterol levels and blood pressure, treats indigestion and flatulence and many more.
Sage
With its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, flavonoids, phenolic acids and oxygen-handling enzymes, sage protects cells and is useful in treating rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions, bronchial asthma and atherosclerosis.
Turmeric
An antioxidant that treats acidity, neutralizes free radicals and an anti-viral. The yellow Curcumin active ingredient has strong anti-inflammatory properties.
