Reiki

The literal meaning of Reiki is Universal Life Force Energy. In short - Reiki is Energy Healing through Intent.

When this Universal Life Force Energy is channelled by a practitioner in specific patterns, healing and harmony takes place. It is a process of restoring balance to bodies whose vital energy has become unbalanced. It brings deep relaxation, opens chakras, detoxing, increases energy vibration and channel universal Life energy, thus giving vitality. Reiki energy is a Life energy, most effective with maximum vibration and thought of almost divine in it's all encompassing quality of the world, positive and negative.

The laying of hands, Reiki therapy, is spiritual. The healer places hands above the recipient, with no touching, to offer energy and the recipient draws healing energy as needed. The energy field is manipulated rather than changed. The goal is to find the limitation, recognize the pattern and the root of it, and release thereafter. Reiki enables the recipient with enough energy to 'see' the limitations, patterns and roots - sometimes subconsciously.

The practitioner has the intent for healing to occur and the energy that follows support this intent. This energy goes where it is aimed for in the correct amount of energy that is needed.
